After my failure of legs, I felt that I needed to get out and try again, even if just the same distance and at 13.5 miles the Bristol to Bath Cycle Path was the ideal walk. Starting at Trinity Road, it gently rises all the way up to Staple Hill some 3.5 miles away.

At this point you venture through the tunnel which is longer than you realise, but I emerged unscathed despite all of the pigeons!

The next location of note is Mangotsfield Station (again for those who read the Ring Road Walk) and then down across Siston and Warmley.

After Warmley is Bitton Railway Station before the long flat into Bath.

The first part to Bitton is 8.5 miles and then from there to Bath a further 5 miles.

Whilst this was no further than my Ring Road walk, what was heartening was the fact that my legs were much better at the end although there were some blisters again and it's an issue I will have to resolve!
