Due to a few time constraints, I decided to try out a local circuit. Again the usual climb but instead of turning off to Los Christianos I went up to the road with no path from the Siam Park walk, but then turned back downwards across the top of the area with the plan to encircle my hotel. The walk across the top was probably the only area of concern as there were no raised pathways again, and so it was the painted line paths which was fine, except with the odd coach or lorry thundering past!
Eventually I managed to get past this and back onto normal paths as the route turned back downwards and towards the sea, and finally back across towards my hotel, the Riu Buena Vista (that's Fran on the balcony in green just to the right of my headphones below).
Overall and short, but satisfying walk, made worth it mainly again by the climb.
