We left at 8:00am and travelled down from Somerdale Pavilion, arriving at one in the afternoon before taking the obligatory photo at the Land's End sign post and setting off.
We headed inland via backstreets and lanes avoiding traffic where we could and made our way across country arriving at Penzance which was our first days halfway point.
We made a short video to share on the Fry Club JFC Facebook page to promote the walk and the charity, and headed on finally getting in to our first days end point at 8 o’clock in the evening.
