Mark, Tom and Andy were on the Tarka Trail, and the portion they were on you can pick up just north of Okehampton and it winds its way up through woods and valleys past Great Torrington on an old railway track with a lovely tunnel!
The line then went past Bideford where restoration work continues on the old railway just like at Bitton.
Then it carried on skirting Instow before culminating for the walkers at Barnstaple (although the Trail continues for any hardy travellers). Tom and Andy were accompanied by Fran to visit the 2nd Hospice at Fremington. Little Bridge House was awe inspiring and very emotional for all who were here!
The weather was the best they have had all week with suntans and sunburns all around, which is typical as the forecast is now for thunder and lightning!
